Method
Soften Cream Cheese
- Leave out until genuinely soft, 45 min to 1 hour.

Mix Base
- Beat cream cheese smooth, stir in dressing and hot sauce.

Add Chicken and Cheese
- Fold in chicken, garlic powder, half the cheddar.

Bake
- Spread in baking dish, top with remaining cheddar. Bake at 175°C (350°F) for 20–25 minutes, until bubbling and the center reaches 165°F (74°C). If more browning is desired, broil briefly after the dip reaches 165°F.

Rest
- Let sit 5 minutes before serving.

Notes
Greasy dip?
Cream cheese wasn't soft enough before mixing.
Storage? Refrigerate leftovers within 2 hours of cooking, or within 1 hour if the room temperature is above 90°F (32°C). Store at 40°F (4°C) or below and use within 3 to 4 days.
Reheat? Reheat until the center of the dip reaches 165°F (74°C). The listed reheating time is only an estimate, so use a thermometer rather than relying on time alone.
